Apprenticeship @ Schaeffler Vietnam
In October 2020 Schaeffler Vietnam has started to provide technical and practical training for students under a 3-year apprenticeship program. Schaeffler is committed to support about 20 students every year to start their career through this sound program.
As part of a new vocational skill development project, the apprenticeship program focuses on developing highly skilled workforce for industries in Vietnam by providing enrolled students advanced training in accordance to German standards.
The enrolled students will receive two and a half years of college learning and half a year of on-the-job training at Schaeffler where they will be assigned to different workstations. This gives the students the opportunity to receive education from highly qualified teachers, and to also learn from industry experts at the manufacturing plant.

Segment (Machine Operator)
The Segment department is a group of functions within the business that is responsible for the manufacturing of goods to meet customer demand in term of quality, cost and delivery.
Maintenance
The maintenance department is responsible for keeping machines, equipment and other facilities in good condition, ensuring smooth operation in manufactory.
Tooling
IE-Tooling is responsible for making tools and repairs to ensure the efficiency and quality of products.
