Nguyen Xuan Thang (Country Head)

Having seen Schaeffler Vietnam’s capacity to be one of the best places for talents to develop their careers in an international business setting, I decided to join the organisation in 2021. One of my goals is to build an international standard of Vietnamese workforce for Schaeffler. The world-class plant that Schaeffler built in Vietnam, enabled many regional functions to be based here. This gave our employees the exposure to multi-cultured and diverse working environment, in addition to the cross-functional opportunities that we have. These experiences accelerates the development and growth for our Vietnamese employees. The journey of Schaeffler Vietnam runs in tandem with Vietnam’s path of economic growth, and being part of this amazing company is a momentaneous opportunity for me, and I am certain that many other Vietnamese colleagues share the same sentiment as me.

Nguyen Vo Gia Thien Phuc (Segment 2, Vietnam)

I joined Schaeffler in in 2016 as a Machine Operator. After only 1.5 years, I was given the opportunity to attend a training course in Slovakia and was offered the position of Setter when I returned. I also was given the opportunity to take on the Team Leader role, and I am currently in a Technologist. I count myself fortunate because of the good colleagues I have around, who always extended their support to me. I also like to mention the great leaders that have accompanied and encouraged me in my journey. Above all, Schaeffler has always provided me the ideal conditions to develop to the fullest of my abilities on this path in growing my career.

Nguyen Tuan Tai (Segment 2, Vietnam)

When I joined Schaeffler Vietnam, I often felt puzzled that my job had constantly required me to learn new knowledge to meet the requirements of production. It was an uphill battle to adapt to these new learning requirements and environment. However, to my surprise, the head of the company had a direct conversation with me and shared that this chain is a pilot line in Vietnam and it was crucial for us to seize opportunity to learn and cement our contribution and value to the company. With the opportunity to learn and work in a diverse environment, I also managed to improve my proficiency in English and took on a role as production supervisor to look after hundreds of employees. Looking back the past 12 years, I am very grateful and proud to work in an environment that celebrates cultural diversity and advocates trust, transparency and teamwork. It inspires me to share and pass these values on to all my colleagues.

Nguyen Chi Cuong (Plant Management, Vietnam)

Schaeffler provided trainings and opportunities for employees to learn, grow and succeed. Being one of the industry leaders, has inspired me with confidence in multiple aspects. The assignments that I have undertaken and learned from has continuously reinforced and showed me that what we do at Schaeffler is always at the forefront of technology. Luu Tuan Anh (Segment 2, Vietnam)

I started my journey with Schaeffler in 2008 as an Assembly Technology Engineer. With more than 10 years with Schaeffler Vietnam, my career has progressed in parallel with the development and business growth of Schaeffler Vietnam. Throughout my journey with Schaeffler, I have been granted multiple opportunities, ranging from being in the position of a Production Supervisor to a Project Manager. Additionally, we have been provided with opportunities to be trained overseas, cross functionally and even on a regional level where we were able to learn and expand our horizons, enabling us to find our best fit job. Today, I am in the role of a segment leader, managing over 200 employees. This is a representation of Schaeffler’s believe in diversity in culture and the investment in its employees

Phan Ngoc Quang Huy (Plant Logistics, Vietnam)

I joined Schaeffler in October 2020 as a Plant Logistic Intern. New to Inbound Logistics field, I was eager to learn and develop myself. The first thing I noticed as a freshman was that the working conditions at Schaeffler provided me with various opportunities to process on-the-job trainings and projects, garnering a more comprehensive understanding of the different roles at Schaeffler. On top of that, I was assigned to a mentor, who continuously gave me constructive feedback and tips that were invaluable to me, especially when I am at the beginning of my career. I am thankful to join Schaeffler as a Plant Logistics Specialist in May 2021, which became my first job after graduation. My career with Schaeffler thus far has been nothing but rewarding, and I hope to welcome prospective employees aboard!
